materials
colourful heavy paper
string
glue
hole punch
decorations

instructions
1. cut out a large triangle using the heavy paper.
2. glue long edges of triangle together to form a cone.
3. use a hole punch to put two holes, on opposite sides, at the bottom of the cone for the string.
4. push string through each hole and tie a knot to hold the string in place.
5. decorate your hat with ribbon, crepe paper or stickers!
