Christmas Storm Operations

Due to the large number of calls received, the local SES crews have been working around the clock to repair properties.

We are encouraging residents where possible if they have the capacity to effect their own repairs they can collect supplies from the Brimbank SES unit.

Residents will be able to seek installation advice from the members at the unit distributing the equipment.

Supplies available are:

• Plastic for roofing
• Sand bags
• Rope

Brimbank Information Centre

The Council has established an information centre to assist residents impacted by the recent severe storm event.

Council staff, The Salvation Army and Department of Human Services with VIC SES personnel will be present to assist with enquiries.
